BatchProof is a Shopify app that lets merchants upload Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for their product batches, publish a public batch-lookup page for customers, generate QR codes for packaging, and keep an audit log of admin actions. These terms ("Terms") govern use of the app by a Shopify merchant ("you", "merchant"). By installing or using BatchProof, you agree to these Terms.
BatchProof is installed through the Shopify App Store and requires an active Shopify store. Access to the app is tied to your Shopify staff account and store; you're responsible for the actions taken by anyone you grant access to your Shopify admin.
BatchProof is billed through Shopify's managed billing. Available plans are Free ($0/mo), Starter ($19/mo), and Growth ($49/mo); paid plans include a 14-day free trial. Charges are collected by Shopify as part of your store's regular billing cycle, subject to Shopify's own billing terms. Plan limits (such as the number of active batches) are enforced in-app and described on the pricing page; downgrading or cancelling takes effect per Shopify's subscription rules.
COA files, batch data, branding assets, and any other content you upload ("Merchant Content") remain your property. By uploading Merchant Content, you grant BatchProof a limited license to store, process, and display it solely to operate the app — for example, serving your public batch lookup page. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your Merchant Content and warrant that you have the right to upload and publish it, including any lab reports or test results.
You agree not to use BatchProof to publish fake, altered, or misleading Certificates of Analysis, to represent lab results that were not actually produced by the named lab, or to sell or promote products that are unlawful in the jurisdictions you sell into. We may suspend access for accounts that violate this section or that we reasonably believe are being used for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
BatchProof is provided on a best-effort basis. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Support requests can be sent to support@batchproof.app; response times may vary by plan.
BatchProof is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or related to your use of the app is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data, arising from use of the app.
You may uninstall BatchProof at any time from your Shopify admin. On uninstall, your data is erased according to our Privacy Policy (via Shopify's shop/redact webhook, approximately 48 hours after uninstall). We may suspend or terminate access for violations of Section 5 (Acceptable use) or these Terms generally.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use BatchProof after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection or data-protection law of your place of residence provides otherwise.
